Holiday Inn Express & Suites Naples Downtown - 5th Avenue, an IHG Hotel

Despite checking in and confirming my late check-out at 2 pm on three separate occasions, the staff managed to disrupt my meetings not once, not twice, but three times. It's as if they were determined to make my stay as inconvenient as possible. To add insult to injury, when I questioned the staff about my late check-out, they insisted I had to leave and only backed off when I produced evidence of my arrangement. It's astonishing that I had to prove my agreed-upon check-out time to the very people who should have been aware of it. I had a bad experience at this Hotel. Feeling frustrated and undervalued, I reached out to IHG customer service for assistance. Instead of immediate resolution, they advised me to wait for the manager, Frederick Sunde, to get back to me before leaving a review. Feeling like it would be wise to cool off and let cooler heads win out. I took their advice. When the manager did finally respond, it was with a cookie-cutter email that failed to address the specifics of what happened during my stay. Frederick Sunde's lack of concern and disregard for the inconvenience I faced is reflective of the overall poor service and management at this establishment. Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere for a hotel that values its guests and respects their commitments.

Very friendly staff and accommodating to our toddler. Priscilla and the front desk went above and beyond to accommodate us which was much appreciated. Clean rooms and nice pool. No room safes, only safety deposit box at front desk which is a little inconvenient but the front desk was also very accommodating with that as well. Great experience!

When we arrived at hotel the room air conditioner was not working we were moved to another room immediately. There was one down fall when we arrived at 2:00 pm the manager informed us that the restaurant was closed for the day few days went by and they had no cook during our 4 days stay. The restaurant was never opened or the bar. We hardly enjoyed the hotel or pool area due to the fact that there was no food for lunch or dinner. I believe they didn’t have a cook to work in the kitchen therefore food was not available. They did have breakfast. Front desk staff was extremely helpful.
